Superman Returns Theme class in DU

Last Sunday DU had our own Superman Returns Theme class. In spite of the building shutting down its power in the morning, I was pleased to find members waiting to enter the premise when I arrived at about 12.30pm - the first class was scheduled to start at 1pm.

The first class - BODYPUMP - was taught by Klevin and Wes, who was replacing Sue.

With the members after the class

The next theme class, BODYSTEP, was at 4pm and taught by Teoh & Kenny.

Apparently Teoh is faster than a speeding bullet

Finally got him striking a pose

"Hey, nice shorts!"

Members enjoying Teoh & Kenny the class

A bunch of happy people, after a job well done
(See if you can spot the odd one out...)

Oh, it's the first time I am decorating the studio for the theme classes. Not really an artistic person, I had to figure out the easiest way to make the studio look nice without cracking my head. So, I used crepe papers(blue, red, yellow- Superman colours) and just spread them around the stage.

Here's how it looked...

It's probably the most difficult thing to do since I became a GXC. Never good at artwork and never will, but I thought it was a good attempt.... you agree?

Finally....... BODYATTACK classes!

After close to 6 months, I'm happy to say that I've finally got myself a BODYATTACK class... 2 to be exact!

If you take a look, you'll see that I actually have quite a balance routine beginning July- BODYCOMBAT, BODYPUMP & RPM 4 classes each, plus 2 BODYATTACK in IOI Mall. Am I happy with the schedule? You bet! I've actually reduced my classes from 17(when I started full time) to just 14. :)

Oh, I've posted some Miracle 2006 pictures(finally!) on the GX Blog. Go check it out!

I'm featured on the Weekend Mail!!

For those who didn't know, I was featured on the Weekend Mail. Click here to read it. Woo hoo!

As for my illness, I'm still recovering with just minor throat irritation and stuffed nose. Other that that, the throat infection is well taken care of with Augmentin by GSK. Gf mentioned that I'm totally bought by Augmentin since I bragged that it's the BMW of antibiotics. Truth be told, it is one of the 3 antibiotics recommended by Center of Disease Control(CDC) for upper respitory infection. Besides, being a former drug pusher, I had to believe in what I sell in order to convince the doctors that it's better than Zithromax or Unasyn, both of Pfizer.

Speaking of gf, she's now in Seoul for training. She's extending her stay for holidays too.

So what's to expect from me while she's away? Nothing. It's the World Cup season, so will probably spend a substantial amount of time watching the matches. Besides that, I'll be trying to practise my BODYATTACK tracks as beginning JULY, I am finally getting BODYATTACK classes- thanks Crystal!!

Under the weather

Finally got the pictures from Miracle 2006!!!

However, I've fallen ill... :(

Bought Redoxan yesterday and this morning still didn't feel that good. So before coming in to gym, I went to see our panel doctor -apparently I got a throat infection.

The good doctor actually gave me a very good antibiotic, Augmentin. Incidently, I used to sell Augmentin.

The good doc advised me to take it easy today. Unfortunately I was unable to find replacement is such a short notice, so I'll still do my regular BODYPUMP & RPM.... Sometimes, it's so busy to be a GXC until you have no time to be sick :(
